The story behind our business.

It all started 5 years ago during the great 2020 meltdown when we found ourselves with a unique opportunity to work in a busy orthodontic practice. Anna held every role in the office before quickly becoming the practice manager. She learned words like "periapical", "Cavicide", & "Lifetime Max". She also got her RHS certificate out of spite and can brandish the word "synergy" faster than you can say "silly corporate lingo". Scott came on in an IT advisory and support role. He did things like creating a new network, upgraded the firewall, moved the practice entirely to the Cloud and jettisoned the local server, expanded the WiFi for better coverage, and implemented remote access among other things. They helped guide that practice through 4 major transitions including: Doctor retirement, 50/50 partners, Solo Doctor/Owner, and an Associate Doctor!  After awhile we started to think...
"Hey this might be a cool thing for other offices too!"

We came away from that experience realizing three big things: 

Practice ownership can be really, really lonely. 

IT is very confusing to anyone who didn't go to school for it. 

Doctors should be able to focus on patient care without worrying about pesky things such as firewalls and equitable staff time off policy.

With that in mind we started Lyons & Lyons Consulting, LLC. 

An IT and practice management consulting company that won't waste your time with lengthy discovery calls just to tell you what you already know, followed by a high 5 figure bill.
